This level 3 award has been designed to build knowledge and confidence in:
- identifying and removing barriers to achievement for children and young people with autism
- adapting practice and making reasonable adjustments to the curriculum or teaching that enable children and young people to achieve and thrive
- reviewing how inclusive environment design and reasonable adjustments can support improved learning and enhanced wellbeing
- developing positive relationships with children and young people and their families
- building effective working relationships with other professionals
The course combines evidence-based online learning alongside facilitated study sessions designed to deepen understanding through discussion and reflection.
Assessment tasks focus on building the knowledge, understanding, and professional expertise needed to provide high-quality inclusive provision.
