The Key Stage 4 (KS4) Reading Fluency Project CPD is delivered via:

Induction session webinar

A short webinar to ensure participants have all resources and the timeline to ensure that project logistics are in place.  

Online training day, incorporating 3 sessions:

• Session 1: independent time to read and view pre-recorded content – available to be accessed from induction day onwards 
• Session 2 & 3: live interactive webinars

Twilight session (live webinar)

Project coaching (via an online session)

Final project twilight (live webinar) 

Live sessions are recorded and are available to access for a limited time after delivery via the HFL Education Hub.

Included in the project cost: schools will be provided with assessment materials, which will be analysed by HFL in order to judge the impact of the project. Full analysis and data for 6 students is included in the project.  There is an additional charge, per student, if you wish to have more students’ data analysed. 

Each school is allocated a Reading Fluency Project Teaching and Learning Adviser (TLA) who will remain on hand throughout the project period to answer queries and support the school as needed.

The Key Stage 4 (KS4) Reading Fluency project commences at the start of every term.

Participation costs

The project cost is £899 for up to 2 delegates (including one teacher and a project leader, most suitably the English Leader). There is the option to increase the number of teachers and/or students participating for an additional charge. 

Trust leaders who are exploring the training with the intention of engaging all/a number of their schools in the full project.
