The conference addressed how to take meaningful action to address race equity and anti-racism in a school. School leaders, staff, governors and trustees were invited to attend our first National Race Equity Conference where they were offered guidance, support and strategies to help create change and address racial inequity. Participating schools from across the country had the opportunity to identify how to take meaningful action on race equity and anti-racism, within their wider equalities agenda.

"This was a fantastic conference - incredibly inspiring, opportunity to reflect on practice and explore my responsibility for ensuring inclusion and actively anti-racist culture in my school."
Roxanna Kabra, Co-Headteacher, Henry Maynard Primary School, London

"Excellent conference. Thought-provoking and empowering."
Kevin Coetzee, Deputy Headteacher, Watford Grammar School for Girls, Watford.

"The keynote speakers were great - but it was more than that. Really useful workshops and valuable panel discussions. So worthwhile."
Malcolm Wilson, Chair/Vice Chair of Governors, St Peter's Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School, Rickmansworth.

"Keynote speakers were excellent, truly inspirational."
Sara Miller, Deputy Headteacher,  Presdales School, Ware.

"All the speakers were inspiring, opened my eyes to history by David. I've always wondered but never delved deep into this and it was so true what he was saying.  Reni and Jeffery were raw and honest."
Afia Begum, Support Staff Leader, York Road Nursery School and Pre-School, Hitchin.
